Final table highlights and payouts

Lococo entered heads-up play with a commanding chip lead against the player known as “Goodarla.” The final hand saw Lococo move all in from the button with Q♦4♠. Goodarla called with 10♥7♥. The flop came J♣6♣4♥, giving Lococo a pair of fours. The turn brought a 5♥, giving his opponent an open-ended straight draw and overcard outs, but the river delivered the 4♦, filling trips for Lococo and ending the tournament.

Goodarla earned $244,673 for second place. The rest of the final table paid out as follows: Jorge “jorginho88” Abreu took third for $174,412, followed by “feedme12” in fourth ($124,327), “calldeKhig” in fifth ($88,624), “paco_cska20” in sixth ($63,174), “Timmy_Twitch” in seventh ($45,033), “Carboneraa” in eighth ($32,101), and Julio “JúlioFantin” Fantin in ninth ($22,882).

Bracelet winners Alex Livingston and Faraz Jaka were among those who sent congratulations after the win.

Lococo’s broader poker resume

The WCOOP score is the latest in a string of major results for Lococo. At the 2024 WSOP Paradise festival, he won the $500,000 buy-in Triton Million Invitational for $12,070,000, securing both his first WSOP bracelet and a Triton title. He came close to a second Triton trophy only weeks before this win, finishing runner-up to Klemens Roiter in a $20,000 no-limit hold’em event at Triton Jeju.

His live record also includes a seventh-place finish in the 2021 WSOP main event for $1,225,000. According to Card Player, his total recorded tournament earnings stand at $16,981,726, a figure that does not yet include this online payday.

Poker is his second career. Lococo won the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos freestyle rap competition in 2016, and his YouTube channel has more than 2.6 million subscribers. He posted under his Papo MC handle on September 30, calling himself “Campeón del mundo.”

What this means for video poker and online tournament players

While the WCOOP main event is a no-limit hold’em tournament, the series itself is a major fixture on the online poker calendar and draws players who also play video poker and other cash games on PokerStars. The $1,050 buy-in tier is the most accessible of the three WCOOP main events—alongside the $10,300 and $109 versions—and the $343,242 prize is the largest awarded at that tier this year.

For players who follow online tournament results or track major winners, Lococo’s win reinforces that cross-over success between live and online events is common among top pros. It also highlights the size of the WCOOP field, which remains one of the largest guaranteed prize pools in online poker.
