He acknowledged that while mistakes are common in the early stages of tournaments, his ability to minimize errors in the crucial latter stages was key to his success. “I made a lot of mistakes in the first two days, everyone does, but it’s about who makes fewer, and the last six hours I didn’t make any,” Benso stated.

With nearly two decades of poker experience and consistent WSOP participation, Benso expressed relief at finally breaking through. “I usually (mess) up on the last day, but not today,” he admitted. “I got lucky and I played well.” His victory signifies the culmination of years of dedication to the game.
